Modern Foreign Languages

Modern foreign languages are not part of the National Curriculum for KS1. However, at Holy Trinity we do give the children an introduction to some of the basic vocabulary in French, such as colours, welcomes and goodbyes. This can be through circle time activities, songs and games. 

We also celebrate any other languages that children within the class may speak. This may be through having vocabulary in their language around the classroom and through 'show and tell' with the child and/or their family.
